'Mud
Brick' or 'Earth' is the oldest form of construction
known to man.
The
Great Wall Of China, the Pyramids, the Tower of Babylon,
over 5000 years old and still standing. Although
built of mud brick the Pyramids were veneered with
stone.

Manor consumed 500 tonnes of earth formed into
9,000 bricks each weighing 23kg when dried by the
sun. Earth mortar is used to bed the bricks.

in the 'Manor'. This includes the structural frame,
ceiling lining, doors, windows and frames etc.
